Terms and Conditions
Article 1. Definitions
1.1 In these general terms and conditions, customer means: the natural or legal person who, by entering into an agreement, has indicated that he wishes to make use of the services offered by Expats on the Move.
Article 2. Applicability
2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all quotations and agreements between Expats on the Move and the customer.
2.2 These general terms and conditions also apply to all agreements with Verhuiscoach Haarlemmermeer and the client in which third parties are involved.
2.3 Deviations from these general terms and conditions are only possible if they have been explicitly agreed in writing.
2.4 Any purchase and general conditions used by the customer do not apply, unless Expats on the Move has accepted these conditions in writing.
Article 3. Offers
3.1 Quotations or offers issued by Expats on the Move are entirely without obligation; Clients cannot derive any rights from this.
3.2 Every offer is based on the information provided by the Client on the occasion of the request. Verhuiscoach Haarlemmermeer may assume the accuracy of this information provided.
3.2 Quoted prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.
3.3 Offers do not automatically apply to future assignments.
3.4 Expats on the Move reserves the right to refuse an assignment without giving reasons.
Article 4. Obligations and liability
4.1 Expats on the Move undertakes to carry out assignments and agreements. To the best of its knowledge and ability in accordance with the requirements of good workmanship. If a proper execution of the agreement requires this, Expats on the Move has certain activities performed by third parties.
4.2 Expats on the Move makes every effort to meet any set deadlines. In case Expats on the Move cannot hold an agreed term. Expats on the Move will inform the customer of this promptly, stating the then to be expected term. Without the customer having the right to claim compensation in any form. Expats on the Move can also borrow or dissolve or demand compliance with the agreement.
4.3 Expats on the Move only uses the personal or company data of the customer for its own administrative purposes.
4.4 Expats on the Move only accepts liability for damage. Suffered by the customer as a result of an attributable failure to comply with the agreement. The liability of Expats on the Move is in all cases limited to the value of what the customer has paid for. that part of the agreement from which the liability arises.
Article 5. Obligations and liability of the customer
5.1 The customer is responsible for the correct delivery of data for the services to be provided by Expats on the Move. The customer undertakes not to infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties when supplying data.
5.2 The customer indemnifies Expats on the Move against any claims by third parties that suffer damage in connection with the execution of the agreement that is attributable to the customer.
5.3 The client is obliged to fulfill all financial obligations towards Expats on the Move.
5.4 If the customer fails to meet the above obligations on time, Expats on the Move is entitled to suspend the service.
Article 6. Force majeure
6.1 Neither of the parties is obliged to fulfill any obligation from the agreement to which he is prevented as a result of a circumstance that is not due to his fault. That is still payable by law, legal act or social opinion.
6.2 In the event that the execution of the agreement or assignment is not possible due to force majeure and the resulting delay is expected to last longer than a week. Each of the parties will be able to terminate the agreement after mutual consultation without having to pay any compensation to the other.
Article 7 thinking period
7.1 After signing the quotation, the customer still has 14 days to change his mind free of charge, provided that Expats on the Move has not yet done any work at your request.
Article 8. Privacy & Personal data
8.1 Expats on the Move will never disclose or transfer the personal data, as known to us, to third parties without approval. See our website www.expatsonthemove.nl for an extensive privacy statement
Article 9. Final provisions
9.1 The titles above the articles of these general terms and conditions have no independent meaning and they do not influence the explanation of the articles.
9.2 Dutch law applies exclusively to these general terms and conditions.
9.3 Disputes, insofar as they cannot be settled amicably, are submitted to the competent court.
